Bergen Community College Summer Internship II, 2017

Bergen Community College Robotics Summer Internship II,2017 After the establishment of the Robotics club and until now we have been maintaining our position as an interesting project in the STEM club. As an intern of this project, we have been working since the start of the Summer I until today to make a Robot that will be participating in our upcoming competition. The name of the competition is VEX in the Zone where we have to stack a cone to a stable and a mobile goal to score a point and by parking a robot in the designated place. We have been preparing for the competition that is going to happen in our own college and we are hosting it. The most interesting part of this competition is that we will be competing against ourselves too. When I mean us, it conveys that we have divided our own group into two and we have been building the different robot with a distinct mechanism which will be competing against each other in the competition.  We have invested our Summer I on buildi

Bergen Community College Robotics Summer I Internship 2017

Bergen Community College Robotics Summer I Internship 2017 The BCC STEM Robotics team has always done something interesting for the past few years but this time we are going to host a competition in our own college which is extra exciting for us. So, to make it more competitive we have separated our groups into two and name it as a winning group which is leading by Charles and the Assembler which is leading by Juan. Additionally, we are working on a different robot with different models.  It means we are competing against each other which is really enthusiastic for us. This time VEX have organized a game which has a zone of 12'x12' square field which consists of two alliances – one “red” and one “blue” for each team, competing against each other where the robot competes as a driver- less play for fifteen seconds which is called an autonomous period which is followed by one minute and forty-five seconds as a driver-controlled play. As a preparation for that competition, we

Bergen Community College Robotics Spring Internship 2017 Initially, the old robotics team would like to welcome some of the new members into the team. New Members: Deepa Banjara Alexandra Cortez Tyler Laursen-Carr The BCC STEM Robotics Team is developing a ball launching robot using Autodesk Inventor for design purposes and Robot C for programming purposes. The team has developed 4 major concerns about the design for the robot. First, the robot must gather the balls that are laying on the ground. Second, the robot must feed these balls to an elevator. Third, the elevator must elevate the ball to the launcher. Fourth, the launcher must be able to have varying angles in which it can launch the balls. To account for all of these factors, the designing team had to draw some sketches and ideas on the board for
